The core business of the new group, which will be headed by Richard Burke, will be to ensure dynamic project controls to increase efficiency and avoid disputes with a particular focus on the oil and gas and heavy engineering industries.

Commenting on the launch, Aiken Group managing director Danny Donald said: “One of the keys to ensuring the ongoing success of our companies lies in the synergies which exist between our divisions, and the creation of this new arm underlines that ethos whilst playing a part in the Group’s ongoing and sustained growth.”

Mr Burke added: “Our services can augment existing project management teams by using contract administration and project control engineers meaning that systems and processes can be put in place to improve the outcome of a project.”

The Aiken Group is a supplier of integrated, out-sourced and solutions-based engineering and specialist services principally accommodation; engineering, construction and modification and technology and project management.
