Under the deal, the offshore marine and engineering consultancy will provide offshore rig moving services for Saudi Aramco’s jack-up rigs operating in the Gulf.

As part of the contract Aqualis Offshore will also provide personnel from their offices in the Middle East region.

The value of the contract has not been disclosed.

The Aqualis ASA subsidiary, specialises in offshore marine and engineering consultancy with a focus on shallow and deep-water segments of the offshore oil, gas and wind industries.

The firm began operations in 2013, and is now based in 10 countries worldwide with offices in London, UK; Sandefjord, Kristiansund and Oslo, Norway; Houston, USA; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Mexico City, Mexico; Singapore; Shanghai, China; Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE; Bahrain; and Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
