WG Intetech’s first Norway hire, Mrs Westaway will be responsible for expanding the company’s local operations.

She has 11 years of international experience and will boost the firm’s offering in areas including production operations, reservoir engineering, production optimisation, and well reliability and integrity, WG Intetech said.

Based at Wood Group Kenny’s Stavanger office, Mrs Westaway will report to Ogo Ikenwilo, Well Integrity Manager for the North Sea.

“Wood Group Intetech has an excellent reputation for service delivery and this is reflected in the culture of the organisation. The technical knowledge of the team combined with their efficiency and enthusiasm is extremely attractive, and I hope to emulate this culture in Norway,” said Mrs Westaway.

WG Intetech has been working in Norway for more than 20 years.

Mrs Westaway’s appointment will offer local support to WG Intetech’s customers in Norway and expand the scope of the company’s operations across the Nordic region.

“Norway is one of the most advanced offshore energy markets in terms of technology adoption, operating standards and regulation, so there is a real opportunity to advance our services here,” said Dr Liane Smith, Managing Director and Founder of Wood Group Intetech. “Suzana’s considerable experience and local knowledge will be vital in realising Wood Group Intetech’s potential in this market.”
