AGR to provide well intelligence software to Lundin Norway

Oil and gas service provider AGR has signed a two-year software supply contract with Lundin Norway AS.

The deal concerns AGR software that is designed to simplify the planning, execution and maintenance of wells.
The software is currently set up for visual offset analysis, experience sharing and operations support. It is based on data drawn from more than 6,000 wells drilled on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

AGR said the software can be built into Lundin’s business, allowing personnel to set up internal experience transfer, knowledge sharing and data classification.

Lundin Norway is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Swedish independent oil and gas exploration and production company Lundin Petroleum.

Vice president of AGR’s software solutions division, Petter Mathisen, said: “As operators increasingly search for more efficient and safer working methods, our software addresses the need for increasing operational efficiencies.”
