Harkand wins inspection, repair and maintenance contract with Apache

Harkand has been awarded a contract to support Apache with inspection, repair and maintenance work (IRM) as well as light construction (LC) across their assets in the North Sea following a competitive tender.

The award includes the provision of vessels, ROV and diving services for a three-year period plus two one-year options.

Harkand will also support offshore marine construction contractor EMAS AMC who have been awarded a separate contract for pipelay and heavy construction as part of the same tender process.

“This contract is an important step in strengthening our close working relationship and growing our North Sea business with Apache,” said Harkand Europe managing director, David Kerr.

“Having both the Harkand Atlantis and the Harkand Da Vinci DSVs in the North Sea provides Apache with the flexibility they require. By listening to our clients and understanding their needs, we can continue to build long lasting relationships on project delivery, safety and reliability.”

Harkand provides offshore vessels, ROVs, diving, survey services, project management and engineering to the oil and gas and renewables industries. It employs close to 1,000 people at bases in Aberdeen, London, Houston, and Singapore.
