Skanska will provide electrical and mechanical maintenance services on 15 offshore platforms during a two-year period.

The combined total value of the contracts is $86.8m and will be included in order bookings for the third quarter of 2014.

The offshore platforms are located in the Bacia de Campos, which stretches from the outskirts of the city of Vitória to Arraial do Cabo, the northern coast of Rio de Janeiro, in an area of approximately 100 square kilometers.

The Bacia de Campos produces 1.2 millions of barrels per day, constituting the 82% of the Brazilian oil production.
