Stone’s Gary Siems to address well P&A conference in Houston
Gary Siems, decommissioning manager for Stone Energy, has been confirmed as a speaker at DecomWorld’s 2nd Annual Well Plugging and Abandonment Conference 3-4 December 2013, in Houston.
Mr. Siems will assess the operational risks involved in delivering efficient well P&A projects, and provide an overview of safety challenges and how to implement personnel management programmes to safeguard workers.
Lance Labiche, chair of BSEE’s Office of Safety Management, will also provide an update and overview of regulatory changes.
Dave Coatney, managing director of Helix Well Containment Group, will explore how to limit future liabilities by devising a clear strategy for well plugging and abandonment.
